Why should you/your company sponsor us?

We are a team of driven problem-solvers who learn quickly, work diligently, and hold ourselves to a high standard, even when things get difficult. Partnering with us is an opportunity to build lasting relationships with some of UNB’s most promising engineering students, who will be entering the engineering workforce soon. Last year our team raised more than $12,000 CAD and built Zaphod, our first competition rocket, around a commercial off-the-shelf airframe, integrating and testing a dual-deployment recovery system and a camera payload, including a custom-fabricated electronics sled. We will fly it at Rage at the Gage in Spring 2027. This year we are building our own airframe and our first liquid-fueled engine, Protoss, for Project SpaceOne. We aim to raise $100,000 CAD to do it.

How do spend the money?

All of the donations go towards the Team’s expenses, which consists of materials and logistics. We do all our work voluntarily.

Benefits scale with the size of your contribution and include brand visibility on our rocket, at events, and across our social channels, plus direct access to our members, who are students working in liquid rocketry. Our social channels reach more than 380+ followers, most of them aerospace enthusiasts, so your support will be seen by the audience you’d want to reach.

If you’d like something that isn’t listed, get in touch. We generally don’t offer custom benefits for smaller contributions, but we’re glad to discuss tailored arrangements for larger ones.
